SEPTEMBER 2016 | WITH SAMUEL WILKINSON STUDIO
„Offcut“ is an installation that was created during my internship at Samuel Wilkinson Studio in London. I helped planning the installation and was responsible for its realization. As part of "design undefined #2" it was designed for the London Design Festival 2016. The whole installation was hung in a 9 sqm glazed metal cube. More than 4000 recycled pieces of wood from the manufacturing process were stringed and hung onto transparent wire. This cocoon-like surrounding was perfect to present the studios latest work: "Brace" - a chair made of steam bended wood.
